Fall 2025 registration - ARE YOU READY TO PLAY?

Portland Youth Football League is a community-based charitable, volunteer organization in Portland, Maine, charged with encouraging leadership and building character. We currently have a flag football program for players in grades K-5 for boys and girls, a youth tackle football program for players in grades 3-6, and a middle school tackle football team for kids in grades 7-8. All of our teams offer the opportunity to build a superior, fundamental football foundation. 

Our ultimate goal is to safely provide our players with the football skills, fundamentals, and experiences to help them compete successfully and secure position placement on a local high school football team.  Our youth program is just one of many coastal community football leagues reaching from Berwick to Bangor. We are always seeking Portland area youth passionately interested in developing, increasing, and enhancing their football skills as they progress through school. 

We play our games every weekend (Saturday or Sunday) in the fall at Fitzpatrick Stadium and Deering Memorial Field, two of the finest high school football stadiums in the state of Maine.
